Snowshoeing in Utah!

For our Christmas present to each other this year, we got snowshoes! We took them out for a spin on Christmas day and then again with family along the next day. So much fun!! It was absolutely gorgeous both days and it felt so surreal to be hiking through such beautiful snow covered trees! What a great treat! We plan on going to Cloudcroft, NM this week to do a little more! (In case you didn't know, click on the picture to view it larger!)

We tried snowshoeing once. It didn't work out well, I was pregnant and needed to keep heading back to the lodge to use the bathroom. :) We plan on trying again when I'm not pregnant because it is beautiful to be in the mountains, so peaceful.
